Without any doubt the most atmospheric place to stay in downtown Thakhek. We especially loved the dark wooden floors and our romantic balcony. Our room was spotless clean and comfortable, without all the extras that we never use anyway, and even came with a lovely hot shower. Included breakfast was simple but delicious and served with a smile in the great open restaurant downstairs. Filter coffee as much as you want. Service was friendly and helpful. Initially there was some confusion about the room we booked, but the staff was very understanding and willing to look for a solution. We regretted we only could stay one night and definitely would choose again for Inthira on a next visit to Thakhek.

The restaurant is quite good although some menu items are smaller than expected. The location is wonderful. The restaurant is a nice place to sit anytime. As are the balconies if you have one.
